I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. My research is in functional analysis and operator theory, with particular interests in Banach space geometry, projections and isometries on Banach spaces, the numerical index, and the Bishop-Phelps-Bollobás property.

I am also a Project NExT Fellow in the Silver ’26 cohort of the Mathematical Association of America.

Education

I earned my Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Memphis in 2021 under the guidance of Dr. Fernanda Botelho. I received my master’s degree in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata and my bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Calcutta.

Prior to joining Millsaps, I held postdoctoral positions at Kenyon College (2023–2025), the University of South Florida (2022–23), and Virginia Tech (2021–22).
